Five Things I’ll Miss About Turkey
(in no particular order)
1. Su böreği.
This fluffy treat is made of phyllo dough and has become a staple of my Turkish diet and I’m especially fond of the type made with meat on the inside, though the basic cheese version is equally addictive. Think of it as the world’s most basic form of lasagna with a crispy top and a warm, melt-in-your-mouth cheese-and-meat fiesta in the center. Çok iyi.
